On 13 March 2024, a new Presidential Decree (No. 186) was enacted with immediate effect, which excluded AO Danone Russia from the List. The new decree does not say anything about the reasons behind the exclusion of AO Danone Russia and, thus, reinstatement of Danone’s control over its Russian subsidiary.

Further to the introduction of temporary administration over the Russian businesses of Auchan, Nestlé, FM Logistic and Lemana PRO (formerly Leroy Merlin) earlier this month, on 28 September 2026 the Russian President introduced, by Decree No. 689, temporary administration over the cash and carry business in Russia of Metro AG, a German retail group.
